The Most Luxurious Resorts in The World

Dreaming about your next vacation? With a little bit of luck, these luxurious resorts may be your next travel spot. To be honest, the word luxurious may not even do the below resorts justice. If you visit any of the 7 resorts below, your experience will be nothing short than life changing.

#1 Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, Thailand

A part of the famous Four Seasons brand, this hotel is the most luxurious in their lineup. The resort is situated in northern Thailand, in the famed Golden Triangle.

The resort has 15 luxurious tents with outdoor rainfall showers, unlimited minibars, and free bottles of champagne. While you may not think tents scream luxury, you’d be wrong. Each “tent” will make you feel like a king or queen, featuring hand crafted furniture unique to Thailand and claw foot tubs to melt all of your stress away.

#2 The Brando, Tahiti

As you may expect, the name comes from the one and only Marlon Brando, who purchased the island while filming the movie “Mutiny on the Bounty”.

If you’re a nature lover, look no further. The resort is located on a private island, boasting 35 private villas which are each directly across the gorgeous beaches. Each villa includes private plunge pools and media rooms complete with TV and Wifi. Most of the activities on the resort are centered around the gorgeous water, and all equipment rentals are included.

Did we mention that the only way to access the resort is by private jet from Tahiti? If that doesn’t scream luxury, we don’t know what does

#3 Grand Velas, Los Cabos

If you’re a sucker for Mexico, this resort is definitely one of the most luxurious in the country. Food lovers will be in heaven, with a ridiculous amount of delicious options to choose from including French cuisine and Mexican seafood.

While many other Mexican resorts can often be crowded, at the Grand Velas, you’ll have all the space in the world. The rooms here are massive and all have a terrace looking out to the Sea of Cortez.

#4 Fowl Cay Resort, Bahamas

Not a fan of crowds? You’ll be happy to know that the Fowl Cay Resort only hosts 28 guests at one time spread out across 50 acres and 3 beaches. That’s a lot of space to roam around!

#5 Twin Farms, Vermont

About a three hour drive from Boston, this is one of the most luxurious resorts in the US. Twin Farms is high end country living at its finest, offering guests private cottages to lodge rooms, and welcomes guests with crackling fires.

Once you enter Twin Farms, you’ll be treated with top notch personal service, with everything at your fingertips. If you can somehow manage to pull yourself away from this gorgeous retreat, you can explore the surrounding area with one of the resorts BMW’s at your disposal.

#6 Cottar’s 1920’s Safari Camp, Kenya

The camp is located on a private 6,000 acre reserve in Kenya and boarders the Serengeti National Park. If you’re looking for a family get away, there are family tented suites that come with two bathrooms and fireplaces, large enough to host even the biggest families. There are only 10 tents on the property which maximize the exclusivity.

Cottar’s is also only one of ten Global Ecosphere Retreats. This means you don’t have to feel guilty during your stay, knowing that Cottar’s is committed to sustainability and projects that help the local communities in Kenya.

#7 Jade Mountain Resort, St.Lucia

Looking for dramatic ocean views? Look no further than St. Lucia. The Jade Mountain Resort takes advantage of this and is nestled on the cliff side, overlooking the water with St.Lucia’s twin volcanic peaks in the distance.

To take advantage of the views, the resort has many open rooms and common areas so you can feel one with nature. The rooms feature 24 hour butlers, 15 foot high ceilings, and private infinity pools.
